Sunday, March 22nd: Choir is singing “Nearer to Jesus” at 10:20. Please be robed and ready to run through anthem by 10.

Palm Sunday, March 29th: Choir is singing “Hosanna to the Son of David”, pg. 132 in Oxford book.

Happy Birthday to: Cathy Blackwood, March 31st.

Update: John has requested that we keep our line tighter when processing and recessing (no more than 3 feet apart). Remember, don’t start singing until you step inside the Chapel. Also, when recessing, the lead persons should stay in sync with lead on the other side coming down the steps and line up closer to John and the clergy.

Monday Sectional Rehearsals (6:15-7:15 PM) Last one is March 23. ATTENTION: Only men are required to be there. Ladies have the night off.

Wednesday, March 25: Full Run-thru in the Chapel at 6:30 PM.

Wednesday, Apr. 1 - Dress Rehearsal; please remember to wear black clothing under our black robes.

Good Friday, Apr. 3 - Tenebrae is at 7:00 PM. Choir should be robed and ready in choir room at 6:00 PM. Wear Black under robes.

Saturday, Apr. 4 - Easter Vigil; Note, the Chancel choir will not be singing at this service.

Resurrection Sunday, Apr. 5: Full Choir sings “Christ the Lord is Risen Again” at both 8:15 and 10:20 services.

Prayer Requests

  • James shared that the spot he had on his pituitary gland has grown. The choir layed hands on him and prayed that it will be completely healed.

  • Carolyn Pryor needs our continued prayers as she is going through chemo for breast cancer.

  • Prayers of comfort for Nancy and Phil Lewis as his mother Neva recently passed away.

  • Loretta’s husband John received a good report regarding treatment for his prostate cancer. Please continue praying for a complete cure. Also pray for an easy move for them, April 7th as they relocate into a senior living apartment.

  • Shirley’s friend, Kim Sunner has passed away. Please pray for friends and family for comfort in their loss.

  • Les Oliver needs prayers for pain relief as he recovers from sinus surgery.

  • Pastor Longmeyer at 1st Assembly of God passed away. Prayers for his family and congregation.

  • Amy Guinto and Sam Gibbons need prayers as they recover from Covid.

  • Praise report that Tom Ginn is returning to our choir family and to work as he is recovering well from hip surgery.

  • Angel thanked everyone for their prayers. She is doing much better, and JR has returned from his recent illness.

  • Prayers that Liz Smith, Chris Scott and others who have been ill will return soon.

  • Continue prayers for John with his throat issues.

  • Liz’s friend, Peggy Webster is doing better and is able to return to assisted living apartment after being in Hospice Care.

  • Joanie Parr, Jim’s wife needs prayers for heart issues and upcoming medical tests. Jim needs our continued prayer for his health and trouble sleeping during dialysis treatments.

  • Frances requests prayers for Bonnie’s health.
