Anna’s Notes
This Sunday and Special Messages
August 30th: There will be one service in the Sanctuary at 10:30. Please be robed and ready in the choir room at 10:00 AM. Choir will sing “Sacred Ground”.
Those who signed up please pass out Christmas workshop flyers in the atrium before and after the service.
Note: Gail Shanks will be taking a break from choir at the present time. Anna will step into the role of section leader for both Sopranos and Altos in the interim.
August Birthdays: Mary Kay, the 5th; Rick, the 10th and Jacque, the 28th.
REMINDERS:
Sunday mornings: Please don’t go through the sanctuary and atrium. Take the long hallway around, cut through the office and through the children’s hall to line up at front of Chapel. Also, keep the double doors from the music library into the practice room closed to help maintain the air conditioning during summer weather.
Your choir folder should have the following: “Sacred Ground”, (Choral Classics and The Oxford Book), “My Hope is in the Lord”, and “God So Loved the World”.
Please be mindful of others and don’t use any product with a scent before rehearsals or performances.
Update: John has requested that we keep our line tighter when processing and recessing (no more than 3 feet apart). Remember, don’t start singing until you step inside the Chapel. Also, when recessing, the lead persons should stay in sync with lead on the other side coming down the steps and line up closer to John and the clergy.
